From 13 - 15 January, KCL in cooperation with Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is organising a multilateral multi-day activity on how to institute procedures to control access to proliferation sensitive technology through non-proliferation controls in academia.The workshop will be held in Munich, Germany. It will build on consultations between KCL and the UK government on student vetting and utilise KCL’s “Higher Education Guide and Toolkit on Export Controls and The ATAS Student Vetting Scheme” which outlined compliance steps to be taken by universities when conducting student vetting in the U.K.

Registration is still open to German participants for the main conference to take place on the 14th of January. Deadline for applications for German participants is 17 December 2019. To register, please email emma.l.scott@kcl.ac.uk
